$9Our Serve the City Leader Gatherings are back and better than ever!
Join us for our next Gathering on Thursday, May 11, 2023, from 11:30 AM to 1 PM at New Covenant Bible Church (3090 N Center Point Rd., Cedar Rapids).
Have you felt it yet? There is an undercurrent of activity going on in Cedar Rapids. Every day we are encountering God’s people out there in the streets, in their neighborhoods, in their workplaces, talking about Jesus with fresh enthusiasm!
Trisha Sellers, along with several other servant leaders, will be sharing about ministry going on in our city that will likely cause you to say, “I didn’t know that!” Like,
- one-on-one ministry going on at the transportation center downtown!
- houses being purchased and rehabbed by churches to provide housing options in under-resourced neighborhoods!
- worship leaders and pastors from churches around our city meeting regularly together!
- collaborative VBS events published for the first time in our city!
- day of prayer for our Cedar Rapids school students rallied by a bus attendant!
There will be some intentional time set apart for you to catch up and connect with other attendees; time to listen to one another, edify one another and celebrate the way God is working in each of our churches.
We will also be launching the Prayer Network on May 11, a unique opportunity for churches large and small to collaborate and pray for specific, hurting people in our neighborhoods through a unique texting app and QR code.
It is better when you are there! Please join us on May 11 and invite three people who need to hear some good news.
